Mongolia's 2024 Election Brings Diverse Multiparty Representatives and Corruption Concerns

Mongolia’s 2024 parliamentary election which took place on June 28 marks one of the most important elections in modern Mongolia’s history. While the ruling party, the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) secured 68 seats out of 126 as a majority, the new parliament will be a multi-party governance with the Democratic Party, Khun Party, Civil-Will Green Party, and National Coalition all gaining seats than previous years.
